In 1928, an open courtyard gained a roof — and Gumpoldskirchen gained a little gem. The courtyard became a traditional wine tavern: a place to gather, with a character that has stayed wonderfully its own.

Thoughtfully restored, vis a vis wears its history lightly: in the Swiss pine panelling, the antler chandeliers and the warmth of the room. A wood-burning stove adds its glow, with plenty of room for new memories. Almost a century of charm is rather hard to buy off the shelf.
